2-3 Day Couple Intensive

What is an Intensive?

Intensive sounds intense, but no worries—it’s less intimidating than it seems. Some couples have been in distress for a long time and need help sooner rather than later. A couples’ intensive involves 2-3 days of therapy, averaging 12-18 hours together. This format allows for deeper, more focused work, as consecutive days help keep information and growth more present.

Couples engaging in intensives find that spending substantial time together in meaningful ways creates space to understand each other’s motivations, as well as the deeper pains and fears fueling negative cycles. Once we access these feelings, I will guide each of you to share what you need your partner to understand. This process fosters a felt sense of safety with each other—an essential ingredient for long-lasting secure attachment.

Over the course of the intensive, we will clarify the cycle that keeps you stuck and address the deeper issues needing attention. After the intensive, I can assist you in coordinating continued care with a local Certified EFT Therapist or Supervisor.
